Statement

They say that as one ages, one withers away and approaches liberation.
I myself am so interested in everything I see and hear that I don't feel that I am any closer to enlightenment.
The desires that boil up in my mind on a daily basis take endless forms and change endlessly.
It is indeed the "vexation that "makes the heart to be vexed and the mind to be vexed".
In the silence, the slow and varied changes seem to overlap with the forms of desire that arise, transform, and disappear within me.
I see vexation in its thousand and one transformations.

人は、齢を重ねるごとに枯れて、解脱に近づくという。私自身は、見るもの聞くもの全てに関心が向き、悟りに近づいたということを全く感じない。
日常的に沸き起こる欲望は、私の心の中で限りなく形を変え無限に変化する。
正に「能く心をして煩わしめ能く悩みをなす」煩悩だ。
静寂の中、ゆっくりと様々に変化する様子に、自分の中に沸き起こり、変形し、消えていく欲の形態が重なって見える。
千変万化の変容に、煩悩を見る。
